Is WIX the right platform for me?We appreciate that as a consumer, there are many options for you to consider. Some of the more well known options include WIX, WordPress, SquareSpace and Joomla (of course, the list goes on!). Having updated and created Websites for a large number of employers and clients over the past 20 years, I can assure you that WIX is by far the easiest option that I have come across. Are there any additional or ongoing costs that I need to be aware of?Once your website has been set up, there are no additional payments to be made to the Small Business VA (unless we engage for further work). You will, however, need to continue to pay for your Domain Name and Domain Hosting. More information about this can be found here: Ongoing Costs.

Will I own my website outright?In terms of owning the content on your website, yes - it's your and yours alone! Once a handover has been made, the website will belong to you. However, please note that you are effectively renting space from WIX, so as long as you continue to pay for website hosting, your content will remain online.

What payment methods do you accept?Invoicing is via Quickbooks, and payment can be made by Cash, Direct Deposit, Paypal or Direct Debit. Upfront $499, includes free upgrade Deposit + Final payment $199 + $200 4x $125 Weekly Payments

When will my website 'go live'?We allow four weeks to get through the five step process, including a strategy call, website proposal for your approval, website build, revisions and handover. However, we may be able to complete this sooner if everything is smooth sailing! Please let us know at the time of booking if you have a tighter deadline, and we will see what we can do to help.

What happens if the content and photos aren't submitted on time?No problem, sometimes life gets in the way! In order to keep costs down, I need to adhere to a very tight 4 week schedule. That means, if the files required haven't been uploaded to Dropbox by the agree date/time, then placeholders will be added to your site which you can go ahead and update yourself after the website is handed over. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct permission to use any files supplied.

What files do I need to provide?In short, anything that might be included on your website - such as your logo, preferred colour codes and fonts, photos and content. More information will be provided st stage 2, in your website proposal.

What if I don't have any suitable photos for my website?No problem - we have a couple of options here. 1. Is that you contact a local photographer to take some professional photos for you, or 2. We can source some suitable photos from an online catelogue. More information will be supplied in your website proposal.
